When it comes to food, I believe that we all have very personalised needs and there is no such thing as a “one size fits all diet”.
I will teach you how to eat, rather than simply give you a plan of what to eat. I will empower you to find trust in yourself and your body, to create lifelong positive habits and to liberate you to nurture your body whilst eradicating feelings of deprivation, shame and guilt.
With over seven years in further education studying nutrition and its impact on the human body and mind; as well as being one of the only qualified health professionals that can assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems at an individual and wider public health level I ground my coaching on evidence based research as well as my decade of experience within the industry.
I work with a wide range of individuals to improve their nutrition and relationship with food, however have special interests in;
- Sports performance nutrition
- Compassionate weight management, body image and self esteem
- Disordered eating inclusive of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, compulsive over eating [please note Food Freedom Therapy may be more appropriate if you suffer with any form of disordered eating].
- Irritable bowel syndrome and associated digestive disorders
